Nude Ruffles

Despite the endless amounts of rain and cold winds that blew, the sun broke out brilliantly yesterday for the first time in over a week. I've found that the weather definitely dictates how I feel and I wonder why I'm so attuned to it with my moods. And while I have enjoyed the dark mornings waking up to the gentle sounds of the drops on my window, seeing the sun lifted my soul somehow.  It was the beginning of a great day spent with good company. I think Sundays could possibly be my favorite day of the week :)

Wore these new nude ruffle-y shoes yesterday and I love them. The color is so soft and feminine unlike anything else, shoe-wise, I own.

I'll end with how I'm ending my night. Drinking a coke and curled up reading this great book :)
